Medium: Graphite / Photoshop
Scale: Original is 9" x 12"
Time Limit: About 1 hour.
Notes: Just drew this really fast (about an hour) from life while she played New Vegas. I just wanted to see afterward if my pencils could be painted over. It actually looks kinda neat like that.

Title: Pancakes the Bunny
Date: July 13, 2012
Medium: Photoshop
Scale: Original is 1050px x 900px
Notes: This was a fun speedy, but I tried to rebuild the background too late in the painting. It ended up muddying the foreground and the bunny herself. Will have to try again on her in a different position.
Title: Faces from Life
Date: July 12 - 16, 2012
Medium: Graphite
Scale: Original is 9" x 12"
Notes: The top half of the page is from life, then later I went back using what I learned and tried to make the other half of the page into imagination faces. By far the life ones are better, but it was still a really fun exercise that I will have to repeat. I think it helped me get a better grasp on faces...
Title: Go, Go, Go, Hands
Date: July 14, 2012
Medium: Graphite
Scale: Original is 9" x 12"
Notes: You can NEVER get enough hand studies. These are still and will probably be for some time, the hardest part of human anatomy for me to do. Just keep practicing more and more...
Title: Southern Comfort Still Life
Date: July 17, 2012
Medium: Photoshop
Scale: Original is 1450px x 2584px
Notes: This is really the only thing successful from today. I had this in my head from when I woke up and was like, must paint that. It was fun and an exciting material test.
Title: Armor / Clothing StudyDate: July 21, 2012Medium: GraphiteScale: 9" x 12"
Notes: The traditional version of my armor studies. I threw in my hat for good measure. You never know when you'll need even a basic hat to protect your head.
Title: Posemaniac Return
Date: July 24, 2012
Medium: Photoshop
Notes: I need to do these a ton more, they are always the greatest warm-up.
Title: Midori Still Life
Date: July 25, 2012
Medium: Photoshop
Scale: Original is 1695px x 2444px
Notes: Hmm... I had a ton of fun on this one, and honestly the only thing that I thought about when I started it was that book. But then... after painting it, I think I'm noticing something odd. All my still lifes seem to have LIQUOUR IN THEM!
About 1.5hrs
Title: Muscle Poses
Date: July 26, 2012
Medium: Photoshop
Scale: Original is 925px x 1443px
Notes: More and more anatomy studies, this time down to the muscle level. I'll have to do a few more of these because it will most likely help me a ton in the near future. Plus I think they look interesting.
Title: Leather Study
Date: July 26, 2012
Medium: Photoshop
Scale: Original is 700px x 1176px
Notes: Just attempting to learn more about leather and skin tones before going back to the pin-up. This is actually the type of jacket that the pin-up girl is supposed to be wearing. This was done as fast as I could. Around thirty minutes.
Title: Ashley in Charcoal
Date: July 29, 2012

Title: Buddha Still-Life
Date: July 31, 2012
Medium: Photoshop
Scale: Original is 2550px x 2068px
Notes: I wanted to paint an Asian-themed still-life, so I decided it would be this. The cloth took way too long by comparison to the rest. Done completely in square brush. About an hour and a half.
